have a problem with my edison sample program on my ews64 xl.

When i send midi information to it it responds to all channels which
must
only be channel ten.
I can't fix it with the midi window of edison.help wanted([email protected])

Hello Virusadept,

I've tested your problem with my own Fatarkeyboard, where I can select the MIDI-Send-Channel:

At my computer Ed!son (v1.9) always reacts only, if the values of the Fatar-Send-Channel and the Ed!son-Receive-Channel are the same!

For this reason it is very difficult for me to give you any hint.
Which MIDI-keyboard do you use?
Maybe your keyboard sends on all MIDI-channels simultaneously for any reason???

You could try the following:
Change the MIDI-Input-Channel in Ed!son to channel 1 and switch your MIDI-keyboard to send on MIDI-channel 1 too.
Do you now have the same problem again?

the strange thing is although edison should respond to only the(in the midi dialog box from edison) channel 10 it responds to all parts(and yes all part are recieved because my set-up is mc303sequensermidi trhu-> synthesizers->ews but not all parts should respond but the one i selected...

Hello Virusadept,

with 100% probability your problem is caused by the MC303 MIDI-sequencer and not by the EWS64!

If you want to fix your problem you should search in the settings of the MC303.

I'm not sure about that, but when I still had my EWS64s, I had a similar problem with Ed!son. And no MC303;-)
It could be a bugin the software. Check Terratec's website if a newer or older version is available and have a try.
